Hole-in-One Shootout Fundraiser – Volunteers Needed!
Preparations for our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Hole-in-One Shootout, are well underway. However, we still need volunteers and sponsors to ensure the event is a success. If you can lend a hand—or know of a local business that might benefit from sponsoring—please reach out. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our Lodge and strengthen community ties.
Rochester Elks Lodge #1091
The Rochester Lodge was chartered in 1908 and are now celebrating 114 years of Elkdom. The Lodge members met at the Masonic Lodge until 1911, when they built their own building in downtown Rochester next to the Martin Hotel. In 1964 we moved to a new building in SE Rochester on 2 acres of land. In 2006 the property was sold and the Lodge is now leasing the present facility at the Hillcrest Shopping Center on North Hwy 52, just off of 19th street.

A warm and touching moment was when PER Matt Skinner presented our longtime member and generous supporter of the Elks, Tommy Carey, with a plaque honoring and thanking him by officially naming our Lodge Room “The Tommy Carey Lodge Room.”
Cheryl Watson was selected Elk of the Year for her outstanding work with the lodge scholarship program, youth camp, and Christmas party.
Rudy Naul was awarded our Citizen of the Year for all the extraordinary support of the area's homeless and his work with Catholic Charities.
Charlie Brannon was recognized for his contributions as our new treasurer. He jumped both feet in and learned quickly.
Become an Elk Member
Are YOU an Elk? Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building, golf course or pool. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
